IV Therapy
IV THERAPY (BASIC) $100.00
Basic IV therapy for replacement of lost body fluids. Peripheral IV sticks in major vessels for rapid volume replacement. Basic fluid resuscitation and simple drip rates for use in the austere environment.
This is a LIVE STICK class. You will be expected to demonstrate basic IV access skills on a live patient while maintaining aseptic technique. All required equipment will be provided. The course is approximately 2 hours in length.
OXYGEN THERAPY
OXYGEN THERAPY $50.00
A review of the respiratory system, oxygen administration devices, and O2 tanks for administration of oxygen to a trauma patient or an acutely ill patient. You will learn the indications for oxygen administration as well as any contraindications and practice with different oxygen delivery systems. All required equipment will be provided. This course is approximately 2 hours in length.

SUTURING
SUTURING $75.00
Simple wound closure using interrupted sutures and skin staples is taught using fetal pigs or pig’s feet to replicate human skin. Included in the course is a brief lesson on infection control and antibiotic therapy. All required equipment will be provided by McKuzy Tactical Medicine. This course is approximately 2 hours in length.
WILDERNESS MEDICINE / EMS
WILDERNESS MEDICINE / EMS $125.00
This course is very much like the Basic Wilderness First-Aid course except you will have to accomplish the same tasks with a critical lack of supplies. You will learn how to use what you have on hand to stabilize and treat your patient. You will learn to utilize environmental items to substitute for traditional medical equipment (splints, etc.). This course is taught during a camp out weekend and consists of both day and night evolutions. All allowed medical supplies will be provided by McKuzy Tactical Medicine. This course is approximately 2 days in length.
